This joint PANDORA-id-NET and CANTAM workshop aims to provide training to healthcare workers on infection prevention and control (IPC) practices in relation to reducing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) transmission within the hospital environment. It is aimed at healthcare workers in low and middle income countries.

The workshop will take place on 18-19 November 2020, 09:00-13:00 GMT (London)

It will cover the basics of IPC and AMR, including common resistant pathogens, the practical applications within the hospital environment, waste management and disinfection, and an introduction to surveillance and stewardship. 

Each of these sections will be reinforced with discussion sessions, which will include comparing IPC policies between countries, root cause analysis, the barriers to implementation evaluation and infection control case studies.

Certificates of Attendance will be available. To be eligible for one you must register in Zoom (even if you are joining from a classroom); You must attend for at least 80% of the workshop; You must complete the workshop evaluation. 

Your Certificate of Attendance will be emailed to you within one month of the workshop once we have confirmed that you have met the above requirements.
