On October 25, 2023, the AMR Knowledge Hub of The Global Health Network brought together collaborators from Latin America and the Caribbean for a dynamic Meet & Greet event. Much like its predecessors in Africa and Asia, this event was meticulously crafted to provide a platform for networking and knowledge exchange. The primary focus was on addressing the unique challenges posed by AMR in the LAC region. All members of the TGHN AMR Hub 'Collaborator Map' based in LAC received invitations, resulting in a diverse and knowledgeable assembly.

Highlights:

  1. Networking:  Professionals from diverse backgrounds connected to tackle AMR collectively.
  2. Knowledge Exchange:  Valuable insights and experiences were shared, enhancing awareness of regional challenges.
  3. Collaborative Solutions:  Participants engaged in discussions to explore actionable strategies.

The success of the AMR Hub Collaborators Meet & Greet Event in LAC underscores the importance of global collaboration in the fight against AMR. As we reflect on the outcomes of this event, we anticipate a ripple effect of positive change within the LAC region and beyond.
