Prof Paul Turner discusses the pressing need for quality laboratory data in low and middle income countries, for better antimicrobial resistance surveillance. Paul is the Director of the Cambodia Oxford Medical Research Unit (COMRU, part of the MORU network), based in the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Prof H Rogier van Doorn discusses AMR surveillance data, from antibiotic susceptibility testing results to treatment regimen. Rogier is the Director of OUCRU Hanoi (part of the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU)) in Vietnam.

These webinars were part of the University of Oxford Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health TropMed webinar series, in which researchers in Oxford and their overseas units in Thailand, Vietnam and Kenya share their research with the wider Oxford Tropical Network community. Both Paul and Rogier provided slides for their presentation; you can download PDFs from the TropMed webinar series page.
